Software to Incorporate in Your Construction Business

To grow your construction business, you need to know what software can help propel your company to the next level. The programs will help you stay organized in construction and provide a more seamless experience for customers. These programs come from the top software vendors in their respective industries and are free of trial periods and lengthy subscriptions.

Google Docs

Google Docs is an online word processor that allows you to write and work with other team members. The functionality of the tools is comparable to Microsoft Word, but it does have a few features that Microsoft does not offer for free. You can also share your files with anyone by emailing the link or publishing it to your website from the Google Drive page on Googe.com.

Dropbox

It provides a cloud storage system for shared files that is easy to use and searchable. It is a personal preference of mine to work with cloud storage, as opposed to email attachments or scanned documents that sit in folders or folders with shortcuts on my desktops or computer.

Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is a great way to host meetings and conference calls. Its simple set-up allows your team to drag in documents, send messages, and video chat without the hassle of setting up equipment. I use Google Hangouts in addition to Skype where possible because it allows you to plug in a telephone number, which takes care of any international calling needs that come up.

Excel

With the exception of Google’s spreadsheet, Excel is still the most widely used spreadsheet in business. You can use it to create simple spreadsheets or track finances or expenses, and you can even create pivot tables and graphs. Excel also has templates for building advanced spreadsheets.

Salesforce

Salesforce is a CRM (customer relationship management) system that is free and access to the basics. If you want a more advanced system or don’t want to pay for the basic version, upgrading to one of the paid versions is best. The basic understanding allows you to view and update data such as accounts, contacts, products, and expenses, among other things.

Weebly

It is an easy-to-use website-building tool. The platform can host websites, and you can also use it to write blog posts, customize the design with your business’s colors, add pages and change fonts. The site will automatically create a mobile site optimized for your smartphone if that is what you are looking for.

Asana

A task management system allows you to assign tasks to employees and create projects. You can use the site to assess your progress based on weekly or daily goals and track hours. Asana is excellent when working in groups, as the system allows you to assign specific tasks to each team member.

Marketo

Marketo is an easy email marketing tool to set up and use. You can use it by itself or combine it with third-party tools such as MailChimp and Constant Contact, which gives your company more functionality than using only one platform.

Measured

Measured is a platform for creating custom reports that you can use to learn about your business, market your brand and get insights on pricing and orders. The platform allows you to create and customize reports with the necessary data and analysis.

Google Drive

Google Drive is a cloud storage system that is free and easy to use. It allows you to access files through your desktop, smartphone, or tablet browser or your Chrome or Firefox browsers. According to Google, all the data you store is not saved to the Google servers but rather uploaded to your account.

Trello

A task management system allows you to create lists of tasks and prioritize them. You can assign tasks, organize them into boards and add descriptions. This will enable you to manage your projects in an organized way and keep track of priorities as they change over time.

Irrigation Software

When running a construction business, you might benefit from using irrigation software. This type of software can help you map out ways to include irrigation on the construction site. You can plan out sprinkler systems for residential construction projects, or drip irrigation for farms.

Customers prefer a smooth and seamless experience when dealing with a company, and some companies attempt to present this through software. It is a bonus for those using technology that will help them be more profitable. By using this softwares, you can also benefit from:
